Business Trip to England

Last week, I had a business trip to England and stayed in a southern part of the country near a village called Arundel. I arrived Sunday morning and had the day to myself before my coworkers arrived Sunday night and meetings Mon-Wed.

The town of Arundel is a nothing but antique shops, cafes and pubs. And the castle of course. It was a gorgeous sunny day and all the brits were out eating ice cream and trying to tan (burn) their pasty white bodies.

By Tuesday, I was happy to get back to London where there is more activity and places to go.

Our Wednesday meeting cancelled last minute so Sue and I had an unexpected day off in London before we had to leave for the airport at 3:00.

Sue headed off to Harrod's for some shopping with a friend and I did some Dana style sightseeing...dog watching in Hyde Park. I took a nice 2.5 hour stroll through Hyde Park stopping to pet all the friendly dogs and chat with their owners. Met some gorgeous beagles so my trip was complete and I'm happy to be back in Hong Kong where the weather is hot and humid and its finally time to crank up the air conditioning.
