I have been negligent in updating the blog in the past few weeks because I have been traveling what seems to be non stop. For work, and a little play.

Mark and I went to Australia March 11-16. Eddie Vedder from Pearl Jam did a solo tour in Australia and we got tickets to the Canberra Show on March 15th.

It was a GREAT show. Only 2400 tickets in a small venue and we were in the 9th row. For the solo tour he played all the laid back songs which I love so was a favorite Pearl Jam concert for Dana. Mark got 100% viewing of Eddie, so he was happy too. (makes it sound like he's got a little infatuation there...not that there's anything wrong with it...)

Since we were in Australia, I also fit in a day of meetings with some Australia clients. But, we did have Sunday for sightseeing and we went to the Taronga Zoo on Sydney Harbor.
Koala's of course and we met this Komodo Dragon while walking in a park. (kidding).
Mark took some pictures of the giant spiders hanging out at the zoo.
And after a very hot day walking around looking at the animals, we were happy to find a quiet terrace to enjoy a drink.

We did see a Kangaroo when we stopped at a rest stop driving from Sydney to Canberra but the little bugger hopped away before I could get my camera out of its case.

Canberra is a 2.5 hour drive from Sydney and for being the capitol of Australia, I gotta say its a very sleepy town. This was Canberra on a bustling Tuesday afternoon. (dead streets)

While in Australia, which is now officially the fattest country in the world, topping USA and England, ha ha, we indulged in many Australian goodies. Like Donut King for breakfast and Submay sandwiches for dinners. We didn't eat in a sit down restaurant the whole time we were there except 1 pizza place in Sydney. Ahhh, I love junk food that is full of salt, cheese and sugar. all stuff they skimp on in HK.
Bologna, Italy
We returned from Australia at around 6pm Wed March 16th and I turned around and flew to Bologna Italy on Thurs March 17th for a cosmetic trade show. I was there for 4 days, returning to HK Tues March 22nd. It was all work there and not much Italian fun.

16 client meetings in 4 days starting with breakfast meetings and carrying on until late dinner meetings and then falling into bed.
I went with my coworker Maria from our Taiwan office and Joanne from our UK office.
Glad to be home and to see Sasha wagging her itty bitty tail for me when I got home
