On Saturday, Mark took me to Ocean Park to celebrate my birthday and like any 37 year old, I enjoyed the rides. Totally grown up right?
I conquered one of my biggest fears and did the freefall ride called the Abyss which takes you to the top of a tower and drops you. I screamed my guts out.
Mark did the Abyss too but wasn't so scared.
Mark faced one of his biggest fears too and agreed to go on the cable car which takes you from one side of Ocean Park to the other side. He hates cable cars.
Ocean Park is not just rides, but also sea animals and the prize feature, the giant pandas.
All this excitement calls for some Hong Kong style snacks. Curry fish balls anyone? Not something you can get at Six Flags.
Introducing Sy Miewy
We also got a new foster dog on Sunday. Her name is Sy Miewy (phonetically spelled) which means little daughter in Cantonese. She's 16 years old and her owner died and she's been depressed and needing a home. She's seriously the best behaved dog. Housetrained, perfect on a leash and doesn't bark.
On Sunday when we picked her up, we took her to Soho and hung out on the steps with Bailey. She was an angel and got lots of attention from passerbys.
Fortunately, we've already found an adopter for her!!! One of Mark's co-workers. This is good since Bailey's already teaching her bad habits.

Happy Birthday! 37 is still 2 years younger than I! So great that you are fostering dogs! I LOVE my dog and would go crazy if he was not here every day. NEED MORE!
