We have 3 more foster kittens and they are as tiny as Bella was, only 300grams. However, not nearly as friendly. We've had them for 1 week so far and 2 of 3 would rather hiss and spit at me then let me hold them. they hide behind the keyboard where they think i can't reach them. I'm forcing human touch and hopefully we'll make them adoptable soon.
Christmas in Thailand
Last week was Thanksgiving and we didn't do much which is just how we like to spend the holiday. Of course, it's not a holiday in Hong Kong, just another work day. For Christmas, we are going to Koh Samui Thailand with our friends Richard and Laura. I plan to spend most my time just relaxing, roaming the beach island and getting massaged. Of course, there's some political struggles going on in Bangkok Thailand right now and all airports closed, so hopefully that will be solved by Christmas. Our plane is direct to Koh Samui which is quite a bit south of Bangkok so shouldn't be affected.Apartment Shopping
The other big news I guess is we've decided to buy an apartment. The housing market is taking a plunge in HK just like back home in the USA which makes it great for buyers like us. Forecasts are the best time to buy will be in the next 4 to 6 months so we've started looking so we know what's available in our price range. The price range by the way is crazy. We're starting in the 4-6 million dollar range (that's about $500,000-$800,000 US dollars) The apartments in that range are about 600-1000 square feet depending on location and how much remodel is needed. We'll buy on Hong Kong island even though that's more expensive much like buying on Manhatten in NY instead of Brooklyn. Better investment though.
