On Monday, July 30th, I dragged Mark to a concert to see one of my favorite 80's/90's bands, the Cure. Ah, so sad and melancholy and oh so good. Our friends Alexis and Rob went with us.Even though Robert Smith from the Cure is pushing 50 these days, he still sounded almost exactly like he did 20 years ago. Great voice.
About 1/2 the crowd at the concert was Westerners like us but it was surprising how many local Chinese attended too. Who knew the Cure would last this long and their reach go this far?
Of course, when Alexis and I saw these groovy concert t-Shirts, we had to get them. They may be a little too scary to wear around the city, so we threatened Mark and Rob that we'd wear them as nightshirts instead. That seemed to scare them too....
