Another puppy joins the pack!

Meet Morris!
Our friends, Leone, and Nikki, got a little miniature Dachshund puppy last week. Morris is only 4 months old and weighs a miniature 5 pounds.

Leone, Laura and I took Morris and Laura's 7 month old puppy Baz, for a walk on Saturday and I fell in love with Morris instantly. (Bailey couldn't come since she's still healing from her surgery). That's Leone and Morris on the walk and a beautiful picture of the Tim Tam Reservoir that we visited.
Puppy Sitting
As a bonus to the day of hiking with the puppies, I volunteered to babysit Morris at our apartment for the night while Leone was out. Bailey and Morris hit it off instantly. After Bailey sniffed Morris to make sure he wasn't a large rat, she discovered he was the perfect size for her. They played and played until Bailey could play no more. When that happened, I put Bailey on the couch so she could get away from the little guy. After that, Morris tired himself out jumping in place trying to catch a glimpse of Bailey on the big tall couch.

Work Travel Begins
In addition to the brief puppy sitting experience, we have been busy with work work and more work. Fortunately, to break the monotony of winter, we both have some fun work related travel ahead of us. Mark will be traveling to New York on Sunday for a 1 week work related trip. And, I will be going to Bologna, Italy at the end of the month for a trade show. Coincidentally, my parents will also be in Italy while I'm there so we're going to meet up and vacation together. I'll be there through the Easter holiday with them. (Hong Kong gets the Thursday and Friday before Easter and the Monday after Easter as a national holiday!)
Looking forward to a nice break in Italy.
