The Wilson Trail is on the Kowloon side of Hong Kong and we were expecting to end up in a place called Clearwater Bay, but the trail had so many diversions, we lost our way and ended up in Junk Bay (seriously, that's what's it's called). But, it wasn't as bad as it sounds. It was gorgeous and I took lots of pictures, so here's a picture story of the trip.
(By the way, you've probably noticed Mark wasn't mentioned in the list of hikers. Being the caring person he is, he opted to stay home with Bailey...and he wanted to be lazy.)
Baz and BC were never fazed by any hill and climbed them eagerly.

Cemetery Picture: At one point, we came across a huge cemetery, designed in traditional Fung Shui with everything facing the water and your back to the mountain for protection.
Hill hikers: Here's one of the many hills. It reminded me of the song "The bear went over the mountain to see what he could see..." because when we went over each mountain, all we could see was another mountain. Good Exercise!
Laura and her ciggy: Laura celebrated a successful hill climb with a cigarette and imagined a cold beer in her hand.

Surprise attack: That's Baz launching a surprise attack on BC over the top of the grassy knoll.
Trail view: Just another look back on what we just climbed

Castle and Bay view: Oddly, we came across what was supposed to look like an old castle, but it appeared to be less than 50 years old. Pretty soon after passing the castle, we caught a peak of Junk Bay. Our new destination.

Where's the trail?: Unfortunately, the trail leading to the bay was not quite as easy to find and we decided to follow some locals who seemed to know where they were going. They didn't. But we made it through.
A view of our hike: Here's a picture showing the view looking back on what we climbed.

Water break: Almost to the end, so we take another rest and water break with the dogs.
Bike pile?: We finally make it back to civilization and on the way to the Subway station to go home, we came upon the biggest pile of bikes chained outside a shopping mall. Too tired to spend too much time wondering how the heck anyone gets their bike out the middle of the heap, so keep on moving. Just 4 short hours after leaving, I'm back home and passed out on the couch in front of the TV. (but no picture of that thank god.)
