We hope it was pain free and I'm comforting my lonliness for her by picturing her frolicking across the rainbow bridge to meet up with Bailey.
We adopted Sasha last October and had been fostering her since August, so it's just been about 10 months, but we loved that tiny 6.5 pound dog.I already miss her goofy, oblivious wandering around the apartment and barking at the walls. And I miss being able to carry her around in 1 hand and cuddle her.
As my niece's put on a frame for me in a present a few years back, "A dog is not your whole life, but she makes your life whole." Feels pretty empty in the apartment without those doggies.

We share your hurt but has we've said many times Sasha has lived in comfort for a lot longer than expected because of the care you and Mark have given.
