It's been over 2 months since my last post and I considered stopping the Beagle in Hong Kong blog since our lovely Beagle in Hong Kong has crossed the Rainbow Bridge.

I've even taken a break from bringing my camera with me wherever I go so don't really have many pictures.

But, I've decided to continue on with weekly posts since the blog is such a nice way to document our life in Hong Kong and

I find it even drags me out of laziness sometimes since I want to get good pics for the blog.
So, in the last 2 months Mark and I have been pretty busy. I've been to many many office Christmas and Chinese Ne

w Year parties in our Hong Kong and China offices.

Our Hong Kong office Christmas party was Dec 3rd and was a costume party.

I was feeling pretty puffy from crying over dear Bailey that I dressed up in a dog mask as Obie Dog Kanobi so you couldn't see my face.

Mark and I celebrated Christmas day with a group of friends for a champagne roast dinner at a restaurant in Soho.

I also had a work business trip in January to UK and Milan for 10 days and met up with Alexis who tr

aveled to meet me from her home in Switzerland. We had a nice girls weekend in Milan.
Other than those highlights, we've been hiding from the cold Hong Kong weather in our apartment with our old old dog Sasha. Sasha has Cushings Disease and we've learned she also has a big tumor on her liver, a heart murmer and both eyes have damaged lens so now we know she's completely blind. That's on top of the fact she has no teeth which is why her tongue hangs out. She's given us some scares that the end is near, but she keeps hanging on and we love her sweet cuddles.

A pic of her and the cat at the vet's is included. The cat (Tiger) had been attacked by a dog when it was just a kitten and is paralyzed from the waste down. Tiger lives at the vet now and just scoots around the vet office greeting all the visitors. Tiger is fascinated by Sasha, but Sasha never really seems to notice Tiger.

This past weekend, Hanna and I went to Katja and Jason's house for a baking day. We made eclairs, bagels and apple streusel.

I brought little Sasha and it was fun to see her and Katja's guinea pig Butter try to figure each other out. I don't have any pictures of that, but just 1 pic of me and Butter.

Last but not least, I've included a picture of my parent's Sovar family Christmas card.
