It's been a lazy September. No blog updates yet, but we have been hanging out and enjoying friends and our dogs. Of course, football season has started so Mark's weekends keep him up all night watching college football and NFL live on the internet.

Sept 23 was Mid Autumn Festival holiday here and a day off. We took Mark's new boss, Hanna, to the Mid Autumn Festival in Victoria Park to see all the lanterns.

She's a photographer and took LOTS of pictures.

I also borrowed my colleague Zoe's rottweiler mix, BC, last weekend for some hiking and hanging out.

BC and Sasha were a odd sight together. BC is 38 kg and Sasha is 4kg. But BC is a gentle giant and the mostly blind Sasha actually was the boss of the house as she'd run into BC or step on her, freaking BC out more than a little. Bailey just goes on with her business and doesn't mind what new dogs come in. She knows she's always top dog and doesn't need to prove it.

Zoe said after a whole weekend of activity with us, BC was wiped out all week. Ah, I love her.

Sasha is pretty much our permanent foster now. Bailey patiently waits for her to finish eating (or me to stop watching) before she dives into Sasha's food dish for cleanup.

Last but not least, I've been seeing my friend Brooke and her darling 6 month old baby Bailey.

Used to be me and Brooke with 4 dogs at a Starbucks on a Sunday afternoon. Now we have a baby brigade of stuff and are focused on keeping Bailey smiling, which fortunately, she does a lot.
