Mark's Mac, another trip to Taiwan and Bailey's Buddies

Mark has some very exciting news in his life. First of all, football season has started and although the Cougs didn't do well in their Saturday game this weekend, he's primed and ready for another season of waking up at 2 or 3a.m. Saturday nights so he can watch the games live via Slingbox. That means he's completely exhausted Sunday for his Cantonese class, but sacrifices must be made.

Mark's other exciting news is he got a Mac laptop! Gasp. We've heard so many good things about it and when it came time to buy a new one, (when LuLu kitty ate through the power cord on the old laptop), he took the leap and bought a Mac. He loves it and can't stop gushing over it.


Bailey's pub crawl
Here's some beautiful pictures of Bailey and some of her doggy buddies.

I met some friends from Hong Kong Dog Rescue at a pub Sunday evening and the dogs came along.

Bailey now is known as the cranky old lady. She got put in timeout for most of the evening for picking on the other dogs.

At one point in the night, another beagle came along, Patch, who was just adopted from Hong Kong Dog Rescue 6 weeks ago. Such a handsome dog.

Taiwan
Tonight, I attempt another trip to Taiwan. The last 2 have been cancelled by typhoons so we'll see if I actually get on the plane! I'll be there all week and then Mark will join me on Friday to have a weekend in Taipei. It's our 12-year wedding anniversary on Sunday, Sept 7th, so we'll celebrate with the Taiwanese.
