nother week is rushing by and I'm not sure where the time is spent. The only thing really worth reporting this past week is Mark and I met Bailey's doppleganger (twin) on Sunday. We also met the humans that were with the beagle, but if you know me, the real news is the fact of meeting the gorgeous beagle.

Her name is Taj and although she's a bit thinner than Bailey and is only 7 years old, it's almost her exact twin. However, her parents say she never barks or makes a noise. Not true with Bailey. Can you tell which is Bailey and which is Taj? Bailey is with the kittens of course.
We met Taj (and her human parents) on Discovery Bay on a Sunday afternoon outing. Discovery Bay is a neighborhood of Hong Kong we hadn't visited yet so I convinced Mark it would be a nice day trip. It's on Lantau Island and you take the ferry to get there.I
t's like a resort town really because there are no cars allowed and everything is fairly new and resorty. A gorgeous beach with all kinds of activity and a lot of walking and people buzzing around in golf carts (the only vehicle you're allowed to own)
In fact, when Hong Kong developed it, they had to call it a "resort" for zoning rules and it shows. The couple who have Taj told us DB (what everyone calls Discovery Bay) is actually short for Dogs and Babies. I concur. The place is bursting with kids and dogs. If it weren't for the kids.......
Here's me walking around shopping on Discovery Bay. Just kidding. Speaking of dopplegangers, the girls in my office think they've found mine. This chick is a British TV soap star and the picture keeps circulating around the office and ending up printed on my desk. This could have been me 10 years ago on a good day with less tired eyes.
Hello from Monkey Mountain
Other than the Discovery Bay visit, the only noteworthy pic is from Mark's co-worker Lorelle who lives up by Monkey Mountain. She often gets monkey sightings off her deck or around her apartment. This guy was just sitting at the entrance to her building and it made for a nice pic

If that's not a picture of you, she's definitely your doppleganger. Is she advertising for House of Raque with that shopping bag turned toward the camera? If you travel to the UK you may get asked for autographs. -Love uncle Jim
