It's a very very very busy week so I've only got time to upload some pictures and give a brief update in the life of Dana, Mark and the ark of pets we have living with us.
The kittens are still with us but will be going back to the shelter this weekend. I came as close as ever to keeping one this time since Bailey seems to really enjoy their company, but my allergies get worse the older they get and I just can't take it anymore.
I'm so proud of Bailey and how well she gets along with them. They even play and almost cuddle. One of them is a begger just like Bailey and they both hover whenever we're eating just praying for a handout. Ah well, she'll love the next litter too I'm sure.
Other than caring for the pets, it's been a busy time for me filled with some volunteer work I'm doing to help plan a fundraising event for Hong Kong Dog Rescue May 29th. I've started back up with group Mandarin courses 1x a week for 2 hours on Tuesday nights after work and Mark has started taking a group Cantonese class on Sunday mornings for 3 hours! When adding that on top of work, it somehow feels really busy.
May 1 is a holiday in Hong Kong so I'm looking forward to sleeping and relaxing. May 12th is also a holiday and we'll see if we can get out of town for the 3 day weekend or maybe we'll just explore around Hong Kong.
